I decided that my pseudonym for my fictional writing is B. P. Kirwan. Luckily, I can use my same Amazon account. (Future note: This was all I said on this day. I had apparently only started the thought because I didn’t have a period on the last sentence. My plan is still to use B. P. Kirwan for my fictional writing. I want to do this to distinguish my fictional and nonfiction writing. I’m not trying to hide who I am except not being judged as a male writer. Many female writers tried to hide their womanhood in order to be taken seriously. I’m hiding my maleness so I won’t get pre-judged as a typical man.)

I saw an ad from Google I didn’t like, so I looked at the settings. There’s a site where you can look at what your interests are according to Google and what category they have you in. Most of it was correct, like cats and fantasy, but it said I was most likely a female because of my interests. I’ve never been so proud. My interests are much more feminine than masculine. I’m not looking to buy a dress anytime soon, but, if I were, I could see ads for them. My outside is not feminine, but my brain is pure female.
I’ve seen many ads and even created some for my own creations. In today’s world, I understand they are inevitable. I at least want to see ads relevant to my interests. I never watch ads on TV if I can help it. The audience for most shows is so general, the ads are never things I’m interested in. This is why Netflix and Hulu with the “no ads” option are so popular. Fighting ads online is useless and pop-up blockers screw up most websites. If I see something I’m not interested in, I ignore it like I do in real life. I have to ignore most ads for my health. I find religious, conservative, and hateful ads offensive, and want to destroy them when I see them. That religious-based ads are legal makes me want to move to a country without religion. That country doesn’t exist, so I’m stuck here in Christian land.
When I was making ads on Facebook, it always amazed me how pissed off people got at just seeing ads for Reality Acceptance. Some people thought they were being clever and said, “Accept the reality that I don’t want to see this ad.” Some people look for any excuse to be nasty to others on the Internet. The only people I ever had problems with were religious conservatives. For people who profess to love the Bible, they don’t act like they’ve read it. They may have skimmed through it, but only paid attention to the hateful parts. It’s too bad the Bible doesn’t mention “thou shalt not hate.” The closest I come to hating other people is when they are hateful to me. All the times other people have hated me have been with people who didn’t really know me. They were, again, all religious and conservative.
The best ads are ones that entertain. Some ads think they are entertaining, but are only entertaining to simple-minded people. Action movies usually show scenes I would probably fast forward through if I were to watch them. Car commercials don’t ever show me anything I want to know about the cars. Some products don’t need ads, but they have them anyway. Toilet paper doesn’t need ads, but they have them because they want you to buy their brand over another one. Ads are only affective when they advertise to the right audience.
